Hyperactive

Yesterday was the first day where I could exercise in a month, other than swimming (which I was weary of, anyway ----> flip-turns and pushing off from the wall was basically a *no-no*).

45 minutes Spin class
15 minutes on the rowing machine

As you can see, my legs were moving so fast, I couldn't get a good picture.

These flip flops were *prescribed/suggested* by Dr. Chin, my Podiatrist.  They're called OOFOS; have you heard of them?  Some people use them for recovery after races and tough long runs.  They're pretty darn comfy.

That has nothing to do with this picture, though.  I just forgot my sneakers.

After taking 11 minutes to get ready (I showered, promise), I head out into the cold...in those flip flops.  My sneaks were in the car.:)

What a gorgeous morning!  The fact that it was freezing out + getting that endorphines push for the first time in a month got me really hyper.  I was on Cloud 10000000000000000000000, and happy as can be.  Poor Work Husband.  I was pretty hyper when I got to work; so much that he gave me a headtilt when I started to pour a cup of coffee.

Some breaky...apple cinnamon oatmeal with a dab of PB and a 'naner.  Oatmeal will never look nice in pictures, so believe me when I say that it was delicious.

It was a pretty solid day at work.  I figured out how to use my webcam and wanted to show you everything.

SEE?

Last week, it was almost 80*F here in the Chi.  I have been the worst and haven't pulled out cold weather apparel yet -- that's how fast this 40*F air rolled in.  In the hilarious fashion that is my life, I have clothes EVERYWHERE, including on my President Obama cutout in my office.  That scarf saved my life yesterday during recess duty, swear.

And speaking of which, Chicagoans have this to look forward to pretty soon.  *Dibs* on parking spots.  *le sigh*

Today is practically my Friday, so I'm preparing to be even more lazy than normal for the rest of the week.

Do you get hyper after a good workout?

FAVORITE HOLIDAY MOVIE?
-"A Christmas Story", "It's a Wonderful Life", and "

When do you start to decorate your house for the holidays?
-Always after Thanksgiving!  I used to get upset as a child when I saw people celebrating Christmas too early; I feel like I've learned how to control my emotions over it.  Haha!:)

  1. YAASSS for getting back to good workouts (and consistently!) Depends on the workout. Sometimes, the hyperness comes later, when I'm refueling :D

  2. My husband can always tell how well my workout was by the level of my hyperness!
