1. Art therapy: It's for big kids, too! Read all about it! I don't know the last time I sat down and did something crafty, but this is the perfect scientifically proven gateway to some stress-relieving goodness.
Also, she's still learning how to use her new iPhone. I'm super proud of her for her first phone upgrade in close to six years.

ReplyDeleteI've always loved coloring and may have monopolized my kids' coloring books when they were little. YES eat all the cake! Happy Halloween Eve Eve!
ReplyDeleteMy dad recently got an iPhone and he's been texting me. He always signs his texts : Dad. Cracks me up and warms my heart every single time!!
ReplyDeleteHahaha as I just get done seeing a media splash about how meat causes cancer...
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun post! Definitely nice to get a giggle after I just cried reading Erin ' s inside job's post. You just saved me from devouring some chocolate! Lol
I bought one of those adult colouring books, but I honestly think prefer the ones for kids. The adult ones just have way too many tiny details that drive me insane. And the bigger lines in the kids ones mean I can use wax crayons :P
ReplyDeleteThis was cute! Finding out I didn't need my crutches anymore made me smile HUGE
ReplyDeleteI just love your girl-mance (female equivalent of bromance?) with Susie! It's so cute! We all need a friend like that. I haven't colored in a long time, but I try to do at least one craft a month. Definitely keeps me happy and I'm so proud when I end up with something cool!
ReplyDeleteMy kids make me smile. :-)
ReplyDeletehehehe, love this, and I'm totally with you on good food and art therapy! I used to volunteer at a children's hospital in the therapeutic recreation/child life department, and that was definitely one of my favorite ways to spend time with em'! (Yay for having an excuse to do arts + crafts as an adult!) I'm glad they have such awesome coloring books now too! *-*
