GET THIS.
We’re #bringingyogaback in a big way this spring and want your help! To celebrate, we’re hosting a 12-day Instagram yoga-inspire-a-thon.
The prize?
$1000 in prAna gear for one lucky winner AND a friend!
This is not about competition—you will not be docked points for not having the perfect downward dog, don't worry. Instead, we want to inspire you, your friends, and your family to hit the mat more often and share your progress with the larger Insta family.
As further motivation, one lucky participant will receive $1,000 in new prAna gear from our Spring Collection AND the opportunity to gift another $1000 in gear to a person of their choice (because isn't giving as fun as receiving?).
All ability levels are welcome, so don't feel any pressure to replicate a pose exactly... just do your best and always listen to your body.
To enter:
1) Follow @prAna on Instagram
2) Post a pic of yourself doing the pose of the day - you don’t have to post every day to enter
3) Use #bringingyogaback #taketheleap and tag both @prAna and @fitapproach
4) Get your friends & family in on the fun
Start posting on Monday, y'all! <3

A few weeks ago, I finally got the GPS watch I've been wanting for some time.
I charged it up, got stupid-excited for my long run the next morning (you know...the "NEW GEAR GIDDIES"!), walked outside to sync up and take off, and boom. Dead battery. Distraught (haha, how melodramatic), I ran back upstairs and grabbed my old Garmin. It did the trick, as per usual, but I was peeved about my brand new watch dying on me.
Sooooooooooo last Saturday, Harry and I head back to the Fleet Feet to replace it. You read that right: Last Saturday, the day before Chicago got a foot of snow dumped on it.:) SO YEAH, I'm a little anxious to use my new toy!
I finally, FINALLY got to use it this morning! HOOOOORAY!
Not only was I excited to use my new gear, but it was absolutely stunning outside. I ended up over-heating, since I wore too many clothes. Ugh.
I would say that about 90% of the sidewalks I ran on were shoveled and clean. Everything else was more of a make up of ice and snow slush. Overall, an exciting run.
From the irony department...

Plans for today?
-I'm going to an engagement party for some friends at a brewery! Woot!
Do you get anxious/excited about new gear?
Wanna prAna with me? Strut your Yoga stuff on Monday!
Nice! Love getting new toys! I just got the new Garmin 920XT a few weeks ago and the giddies have yet to wear off as I keep discovering all the things it can do. Nice job on the run!
