That Lazy, Hazy, Crazy Day [Singular] of Summer [VEGA Sport Review, Too!]

Longest Blog Title Award?  Yes?

It got into the 90s on Tuesday!  Pretty warm for a mellow summer.  Fingers crossed and knocking on wood that this weather pattern keeps throughout September, and we welcome a wonderfully cold fall in (very) early October!  ...coughcough...:)

The morning wasn't too terrible, but it was warm and it was humid (about 85%).  I threw some VEGA Sport Electrolyte Hydrator into my water bottle and sipped on it before heading out to run.  This is seriously something I could have really used this when I lived in Texas.  I tried other electrolyte products, but never felt the benefits.  Since I started using this product from VEGA Sport before and during training runs and rides, I feel less bonky, wonky, and I have more (natural) energy, even after the training session.  Since I started pairing this with VEGA Sport's Recovery Accelerator, my legs and body feel less taxed the day after a rough and tough training session!  Just another way to #FuelYourBetter.  :)

Some information regarding VEGA Sport's Electrolyte Hydrator:

A natural, alkaline-forming drink mix, free from sugar and artificial sweeteners, Vega Sport Electrolyte Hydrator is formulated with all the essential electrolytes your body needs to stay hydrated during workouts.

With zero calories per serving, Electrolyte Hydrator tastes great, so you can sip it not just during your workout, but throughout the day to:

  • Replenish electrolytes and minerals
  • Enhance metabolism and alkalinity
  • Provide antioxidant protection

Back to Tuesday morning:
The air felt kind of cool, and the sun felt like a soft, warm glow on my skin.  I only had time to knock out four easily miles.  I experienced one of those "cold sweats", not the chills, but where my body was regulating temperature and my skin was still cool.

I got back to the school and came across the guys in the gym.  They're used to playing basketball after school once a week.  We have so many event conflicts lately that they finally gave up and moved their game to the morning.  Matt (is 6 ft. 6 inches tall) asked me if I wanted to play with them.  I smirked (YEAH RIGHT!  They're all giants compared to me!) and made my way to the locker room to get ready for the day.

Annnnnnnnnnnd this is my life most days recently.  Some of my students need some extra motivation (reinforcers)  in Adaptive P.E.  This usually does the trick.  Over and over and over again.  And over and over again.   And yes.  "4 of 43".  I have a lot of Veggie Tales songs, and added about 15 more yesterday.

True story:  This was the very first Veggie Tales song I ever heard, when I was 17 years old.  It's crazy that this show is that old!

If you want a real giggle for this Thursday, listen to this song.  :)
